** A Personal Review – Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel

Late last month Murad launched a new product called the Multi-Acid Peel. This peel is designed to be a daily use product and uniquely combines strong acids to peel and stimulate cell renewal while at the same time replenishing and building the skin.

One of the other unique features of this product is that it can be layered with a retinol normally a big no no in our industry. Acids and retinols can be combined in different applications but almost never layered. I really was interested in how my skin would take the activity.

My skin has been through a lot of stress and lack of sleep in the past 18months ( along with the person whose skin it is) which has meant that my skin has been more temperamental than normal. My rosacea flashes on and off like a siren and can be red, sore and hideous. My skin is also reasonably fine. For all these reasons everything told me layering the Multi-Acid Peel would not happen on my skin. I tried and I was correct so I alternated one night about. I was pretty happy with the results but not singing from the roof tops.

The mad Beauty therapist did not rest there!

I’ve also been reading up on Vitamin D and rosacea and psoriasis etc. Vitamin D is excellent at replenishing, strengthening weak and fine skin so I thought what would happen if………….
I started using the Multi-Acid Peel layered with a retinol and used the Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil as my moisturizer day and night which contains Vitamin D. The results have been astounding (even while I was sick with the flu). I’ve been enjoying all the pluses and eliminated the negatives I was having due to my fine temperamental skin. 💃 💃 💃 💃 Cue rooftop singing!

I am genuinely excited about being able to reduce visible signs of ageing in such a dramatic manner without any of the compromises. My skin health remained optimal and I saw a reduction in sun damage, improved skin texture along with softening of the lines around my mouth and on my neck and my decolletage has found a new lease on life!

While I have your attention!
Other interesting observations I’ve been using the Revitailixir Recovery Serum while sick during the day. A true test of intercepting stress with flu, fever and all the drugs I’ve been swallowing. When sick I would expect my rosacea to flare especially with nose blowing. Nothing… de nada… calm as a cucumber baby! I would also expect severe dehydration from fever and drugs… plump as a baby’s bottom! I’m seriously impressed to see the results from this product under extreme duress.
